Woodroffe Benton is the newest building at ifield Park, built in the 1980's.  It is home to 21 residents on 2 floors.

Woodroffe Benton has a team of dedicated staff working round the clock to provide very high standards of care and cleanliness to the residents.

Each home has its own housekeeping staff .  Housekeeping staff undertake NVQ qualifications ensure the very highest standards on cleanliness are attained

The care staff in Woodroffe Benton have undergone training in a variety of aspects of care provision ranging from the statutory requirements for manual handling and infection control issues to mouth care, continence management, communication and recognition of changing needs.

All staff at ifield Park undergo a full induction programme which covers: Good practice guidelines in care provision, Recognition and reporting of any incident which would affect the residents well being, Infection Control, Manual handling, End of Life Care etc.

All staff have the opportunity to undertake NVQ qualification and 85% of the care team have already achieved at least a level 2 in care.

There is a permanent team of activities staff who ensure that the interests and the hobbies of residents are continued and also devise interesting and fun programmes of activity throughout the week.

All dietary requirements are catered for by our highly experienced and professional team of catering staff led by our Catering Manager Tom Johns.  Menus are varied and extensive and individual diets and preferences are catered for.

There is a qualified RGN on site 24 hours a day to ensure the clinical needs of the residents are met at all times.
